Dr. Deepali Sawant is a Scientific Associate Director at Amgen, leading an in vivo pharmacology team supporting oncology pipeline programs. With 18+ years of research experience, she specializes in immunology, T cell biology, and cancer immunotherapy. Her team focuses on developing sophisticated preclinical models, including syngeneic systems with engineered stromal components and humanized models for evaluating T cell engagers, bispecific antibodies, and combination therapies. Dr. Sawant’s expertise spans target validation through translational biology, advancing novel immuno-oncology therapeutics from discovery to preclinical development.
